All participants must follow the official competition guidelines listed on the homepage.
All entries must be submitted by 6th March 2026 via FilmFreeway (link to be inserted). Late submissions will not be accepted.
All entries submitted by 6th March will be reviewed, and a shortlist of the top 5 entries will be announced on 20th March. SFPC will provide Presentation Skills Training to the 5 finalists in preparation for the Gala Ceremony on 24th April 2026.
Each group can have a maximum of 5 TY Students.
Each school may enter up to 6 TY teams.
There is no entry fee for the COMPASS Competition.

Upon receipt of the entry form, Shannon Foynes Port Company will provide an information pack and will visit your school to support your project development. Teachers should contact eadams@sfpc.ie for more information.

The competition is open to Transition Year (TY) students in Counties Clare, Kerry, Limerick, and North Tipperary ONLY.
Yes, provided proper credit is given and usage complies with the ethical guidelines outlined in the competition rules.
The top 5 teams will present their short films at an Awards Ceremony at the Foynes Aviation & Maritime Museum on 24th April 2026, where the winning team will be announced.
A panel of five independent judges from the business communities in Clare, Kerry, and Limerick will evaluate all entries.
