Maintenance Dredging at Foynes Port

Mariners are advised that maintenance dredging operations are scheduled to commence at Foynes Port on Monday 22nd September and are scheduled to conclude on Friday 26th September, both dates inclusive.

Gas Pipeline Survey

SFPC have been advised of a planned survey of the gas pipeline to the west of Foynes Island that is expected to be conducted on Friday 03rd October 2025.

SHANNON ESTUARY  

 Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) has recently been granted a Maritime Usage Licence (MUL240034) by the Maritime Area Regulatory Authority (MARA) for the deployment of Static Acoustic Monitoring Devices (SAMs) and Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs) within the Shannon Estuary. SHANNON ESTUARY – APPROACHES TO AUGHINISH Temporary Deployment of Data Buoys Mariners are advised that two (2) data buoys will be deployed to the NW and SE of the marine terminal at Aughinish, today, 01st July 2025. It is expected that the buoys will remain in position until late July or early August. Mariners will be advised once the buoys have been removed.
